Welcome to the Marci Battett State Farm Insurance Agency in Avon!

We love helping people relocate to Ohio, and after 40 years of calling this state home, it truly feels like where I’m meant to be. I actually grew up in Connecticut, and maybe that’s where the insurance bug first took hold—my family was surrounded by the industry back in Hartford. I started my State Farm Agency right out of college, young and eager, and quickly learned that this business is really all about relationships. Helping people, being part of a community, and watching everyone “win” together is what keeps me energized after 39 years with State Farm and serving as an Agent since March 1987. I was also the first female agent to open an office in my county, something I’m still proud of today.

From our office in Avon, right next to Avon Commons and across from Pickering Hill Farms, my licensed team and I provide Auto insurance, Home insurance, Life insurance, Business insurance, Commercial auto insurance, Boat insurance, Rental dwelling coverage, and more throughout Lorain County, Cuyahoga County, Erie County, and all of Northeast Ohio. Whether someone needs renters, condo, or homeowner’s insurance, or they’re preparing to protect the people they love with life insurance, we take the time to walk through what matters most. We also help with probate and surety bonds, and yes—we love helping customers insure their toys, from RVs and ATVs to Antique and Classic Cars.

Working with small business owners is especially meaningful to me since I’m a small business owner myself. I stay active in our community through the French Creek Foundation, partnering with other Avon businesses to support local events throughout the year. Our office has been a frequent Ambassador Travel Qualifier, and inside the State Farm organization, I’m honored to have earned Crystal Excellence—our highest level of agency profit recognition.

Outside the office, I’m married with two wonderful children. Our daughter lives in the Cleveland area and made us grandparents two years ago—we now have two grandsons, ages 2 years and 5 months, and we absolutely love this stage of life. Our son lives in Georgia, and while we don’t have pets at home, one of my team members brings her dog to the office on Fridays. We love seeing our customers light up when seeing our four legged friend. When I’m not working, you’ll find me traveling, reading, gardening, biking, boating, trying new recipes, or popping into the gym every now and then, lol.
